Mantralayam Raghavendra Swamy Temple
Mantralayam is a pilgrim village located in Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The town is located on the border of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka on the southern bank of the Tungabhadra River. The village is known for the brindavan of Raghavendra Swami, a saint who lived in 17th Century and who entered into a samadhi alive in front of his disciples. The temple premises are beautiful and nicely carved in granite stone structure. It is a good pilgrim centre, with large number of devotees and followers. This is the most important place to visit in Mantralayam town.
